The New England Free Jacks

are greater Boston’s 1st Professional Rugby team representing all the greatness of the six New England states on and off the field. The Free Jacks were named the 9th member of Major League Rugby in 2019 and were scheduled to compete in the 2020 MLR regular season.  The team features 32 athletes from around the world and an organization that is dedicated to bringing a championship to the six states.

With MLR matches suspended because of COVID-19, the league started MLR 2020: Virtual, a Rugby20 gaming competition live streamed on Twitch.  The league turned to ingenuity and partnered with the Feeding America COVID-19 Response Fund to allow fans to donate in support of food banks during the live streams.
